Board of Health

In Granville as in many small towns, the Selectboard acts as the Board of Health. The Board’s mission is to promote the public health. The Town contracts with professionals for the review of septic designs, as well as housing, pool, septic, animal, and food inspections. The local Board conducts dog hearings, manages health emergencies, and monitors infectious disease control through our public health nurse.

Trisha Sedelow is our Regional Public Health Nurse. She will have "Nurse Hour" sessions at Town Hall on the First and Third Thursdays on each month beginning in February 2023. Click here for info.

The Board of Health has test kits on a first-come first-serve basis as well as a supply of masks.     There is also a program administered privately that delivers test kits directly to residents home and are billed to their insurance under the Biden Covid Act by clicking this link: https://freshstartmedical.com/get-free-covid-tests
